Global Warming continues to lose credibility...
Global Warming Alarmist Caught Falsifying Data
On Monday, Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore’s chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.
There was only one problem. It was patently obvious without even measuring the data that it was exceptionally cold around the world in October. In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years.
So what explained the anomaly? GISS’s computerised temperature maps seemed to show readings across a large part of Russia had been up to 10 degrees higher than normal. But when expert readers of the two leading warming-sceptic blogs, Watts Up With That and Climate Audit, began detailed analysis of the GISS data they made an astonishing discovery. The reason for the freak figures was that scores of temperature records from Russia and elsewhere were not based on October readings at all. Figures from the previous month had simply been carried over and repeated two months running.
Obama and Schwartzenegger are still not getting it, planning a two-day "Global Warming Summit". Isn't California broke enough? What a waste of money! Obama is still saying "the science is beyond dispute, and the facts are clear" (see above please). This line alone brings total discredit to anyone who utters it.
Make no mistake, "Cap and trade" means taxes. Hidden taxes at best. "Green jobs" are worthless. They are just new jobs based around fulfilling unfunded government mandates (like hiring new tax collectors and IRS auditors).
Finally, the artice references that California has already adopted many of the proposals Obama wants to implement on a federal level. CALIFORNIA IS BROKE, AND BEGGING FOR A FEDERAL BAILOUT. Good rule of thumb: Good policy should start with doing the opposite of what failed states like California do.
(I know I have some California readers, so feel free to weigh in.)

Missile defense
Liberals in Congress have plans to gut America's missile defense program, leaving America without any effective defense against missile attack.
A new documentary from The Heritage Foundation, 33 Minutes, will be released in February 2009 to make the case for this important program.

Taliban expects Obama to fulfill his campaign promises
Taliban urges Obama to end Bush's foreign policies
Blue Country? Really?
This explains why I know so few people who actually voted for our next President. They are all concentrated into dense population centers, which makes them angry, which makes them vote democrat. The country still looks pretty conservative to me...
Can you find Dallas County and Travis County on the map?

National holiday for Obama?

Welcome to the real world Obama. NBC can't protect you here...
Obama was also welcomed by the Russians by the announcement of new missile deployments in Europe, as well as counter-measures against our missile shield there. Medvedev also cancelled plans to withdraw three intercontinental ballistic missile regiments from western Russia by 2010 (sounds like the world loves our new leader...like a wolf loves a hobbled sheep). Russian president Medvedev gave an 85-minute address, criticizing America policy, and never once mentioning Obama, although this was clearly a show of force against an incoming U.S. President known to be of minimal fortitude for military conflict.
Welcome to the real world Obama, where NBC and CNN can't protect you. Talking your way into office by schmoozing your liberal buddies and snowing part of the electorate was easy. The easy part is over, and it's time to start rethinking some of your campaign "promises", like the ones made below.

The Witching Hour
I saw a poll over the weekend that showed over 8% of voters still undecided. I cannot understand that for the life of me. To me, this is the clearest choice a person could make. It's like rooting for the Cowboys or the Redskins.....Aggies vs Longhorns......Gators vs Seminoles.......East vs. West (almost literally).......Heaven vs. Hell.
This article, passed to my mom by my Uncle Sam (can you get more patriotic?), makes one final case for McCain over Obama.
A Harvard Trial Lawyer for McCain
I did not vote early. I saved my vote for November 4th, and I will go to vote at the St. Catherine Catholic Church (who could vote for Obama in a Catholic Church??) I will go through and select the most conservative candidate in each individual contest. I never vote a straight ticket, as I will not forgo the satisfaction of voting against each big government, tax increasing liberal. If a liberal is running unopposed, I will write in myself or my Mom, or my Dad.
